Mission

If you don’t know us yet…

We are Los Gatos de Barrio Logan, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to feeding and caring for the street kitties in our neighborhood. We rehome family-friendly rehabilitated feral and community cats, give abandoned pets a second chance, and make Barrio Logan healthier for both cats and residents.

250+

meals served every single week across Barrio Logan colonies.

80

cats TNVR’d annually with the San Diego Humane Society clinic.

120

rehomed friendlies and abandoned pets placed with new families.

Feed & protect

Routes deliver meals, water, and shelter touches every day—because hunger should never be part of a cat’s story.

Partner with experts

With the Community Cat Clinic at San Diego Humane Society, we TNVR the strays who need medical care and prevent future litters.

Rehome & educate

We rehabilitate the friendlies, place them with loving families, and show neighbors how to trap safely with Tomahawk Live Traps.

Community-first

We learned from YouTube videos, we act with compassion, and we ask everyone to spay and neuter to end pet overpopulation.

TNVR 101

Trap · Neuter · Vaccinate · Return

TNVR is the humane, research-backed process that keeps outdoor cat populations healthy and stable. Every cat we trap receives a health check, spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and an ear tip before returning home or entering rehab if they’re friendly.

1

Trap

Tomahawk Live Traps + calm volunteers prevent injury and trauma.

2

Neuter

Partner vets stop the cycle of overpopulation in a single visit.

3

Vaccinate

Rabies + core shots protect the colony and our neighbors.

4

Return or rehome

Ear-tipped cats go back to their block. Friendlies enter rehab & adoption.
